Yes. Our owner, Devan Adair, is a Master Plumber licensed by the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners (License 46028), and Aqua Pure Plumbing is fully insured and bonded. That matters because licensed work is done to Texas plumbing code, a permit is pulled when the job calls for one, and you are protected if something goes wrong on your property. You can look up any plumber's license on the TSBPE website before you hire. Read more about our team.
No. Estimates are free and come with no obligation. We look at the problem in person, explain what we found in plain language, and give you a written price before any work begins. If there is more than one way to fix it, we walk you through the options so you can choose what fits your home and budget. There are no hidden fees and no pressure to decide on the spot. Our shop is in The Colony, and we serve 14 cities across Denton, Collin and Dallas counties. That includes Frisco, Plano, McKinney, Allen, Richardson, Carrollton, Lewisville, Flower Mound, Coppell, Highland Village, Lake Dallas, Addison and Farmers Branch. Because our trucks leave from The Colony, most of these cities are a short drive away, which helps us offer same-day appointments. See the full list and city pages on our service areas page.
Yes. Aqua Pure Plumbing is locally owned and operated in The Colony, not a national franchise or a call center that sells your job to a subcontractor. When you call, you reach our local team, and the plumber who shows up works for us. That is a big part of how we have earned a 5.0-star rating from homeowners on Google. Read what customers say on our reviews page.
Scheduling & Emergencies
Yes. We offer same-day service 7 days a week, including weekends, across our whole service area. Our hours are 8 AM to 6 PM every day. Call in the morning and we can often be at your door that afternoon. For urgent problems like a burst pipe or a sewer backup, tell us when you call so we can put you at the front of the line. See all of our plumbing services.
Yes. Frisco and Plano are both a short drive from our shop in The Colony. For an active leak, sewage backup or loss of water, call us and we will give you an honest arrival window. While you wait, shut off the main water valve to limit damage. See our Frisco and Plano pages for local details.
Anything that is causing water damage right now or putting your health at risk. That includes burst or actively leaking pipes, sewage backing up into drains, a suspected gas leak, water pooling on the floor from an unknown source, and a slab leak with water running under the foundation. Losing all water or hot water in winter also counts. If you are not sure, call us and we will help you decide. Learn more about emergency plumbing.
For most leaks, turn off the water at the main shutoff valve, which is usually near the street, in the garage or where the water line enters the house. Turn off the water heater if the leak is near it. Keep people and pets away from standing water near outlets or electrical panels. If you smell gas, leave the house first and call the gas company and 911 from outside. Then call us and we will walk you through the next step. Read our guide to building an emergency plumbing kit.
Pricing & Financing
It depends on the job. The cost of a repair comes down to what is causing the problem, where it is, the materials needed and how much access work is involved. That is why we diagnose first and then give you a written price before any work starts. You approve the price, and we stick to it unless we find something new, in which case we stop and talk to you first. Contact us to schedule a free estimate.
The price of drain cleaning varies with the type of clog, where it is in the line and the equipment needed to clear it. A simple sink clog is a very different job from a main line backup caused by tree roots. We inspect the drain, explain what is causing the problem and give you a written price before we start, so you know the cost up front. Learn more about our drain cleaning service.
Yes. We offer financing for larger jobs like sewer line replacement, slab leak repair, repiping and water heater installation. Payment terms depend on the size of the job. Ask about financing when you call, and we are happy to walk you through your options when we give you your written estimate. Get the details on our financing page.
We stand behind our workmanship. Warranty coverage depends on the type of repair or installation and, for equipment like water heaters, on the manufacturer's warranty. We explain exactly what is covered and for how long when we give you your written quote, so there are no surprises later. If something is not right after we finish, call us and we will come back and make it right. Contact us with any questions.
It depends on your policy and the cause of the damage. Many policies cover sudden, accidental damage, such as water damage from a burst pipe, but not wear and tear or slow leaks that went on for months. Coverage for the pipe repair itself can also be different from coverage for the water damage. Check with your insurance company, and we can provide photos, findings and a written estimate to support your claim. Learn more about leak detection.
Services & Common Issues
Common signs include a water bill that jumps for no clear reason, the sound of running water when everything is off, warm or damp spots on the floor, cracks in tile or flooring, and a water meter that keeps moving with all fixtures shut off. Mold or musty smells near baseboards can also point to a leak. We use electronic leak detection to find the exact spot before opening anything. Read more about the warning signs of a slab leak.
Much of North Texas sits on clay soil that swells when wet and shrinks when dry. That movement shifts foundations and puts stress on the water lines running under the slab. Hard water adds to the problem by wearing on older copper pipes over time. Homes built on slab foundations, which are common across DFW, are the most exposed. Catching a slab leak early limits damage to your foundation and floors. See our slab leak repair page.
Watch for rusty or discolored hot water, rumbling or popping sounds from the tank, water pooling around the base, hot water that runs out faster than it used to, and a unit that needs repairs more and more often. Age matters too. A tank heater that is more than 10 years old is worth having checked. We can tell you whether a repair makes sense or whether replacement is the better value. See our water heater services.
It depends on the length of the line, how deep it is, what is above it and whether a city permit and inspection are needed. Many residential jobs take one to a few days, while lines under a slab or driveway can take longer. We start with a camera inspection, then give you a written plan and timeline before any digging. We also keep you updated if anything changes. Learn more about sewer line replacement.
North Texas water is moderately hard, and those minerals build up as scale inside pipes, fixtures and water heaters. Over time, scale can shorten the life of your water heater, leave spots on glass and clog aerators and showerheads. A whole-home water softener reduces that buildup. Whether it is worth it depends on your water and your home, so ask us when we are out and we will give you an honest recommendation. Read our guide to water softeners vs. water filters.
Store-bought drain cleaners can clear a minor clog, but the harsh chemicals can damage older pipes over time and rarely remove the whole blockage. If a drain keeps clogging, something bigger is usually going on, such as grease buildup, tree roots or a sagging line. We use camera inspection to find the cause and hydro jetting to clear the line safely without damaging the pipe. Learn more about hydro jetting.
Once a year is a good rule for most homes. A yearly checkup lets us look for slow leaks, test water pressure, check the water heater and shutoff valves and spot problems before they turn into emergencies. Older homes, homes with big trees near the sewer line and homes with past drain trouble may benefit from more frequent drain checks. Contact us to schedule a plumbing checkup.
